It’s time for a supercar showdown!
We’ve got Mat in a tuned Ferrari 488 Pista, and he’s going up against Yianni in a McLaren 750S! However, that’s not all - once the two of them have gone head-to-head, we’ll be throwing a special guest into the mix… A tuned McLaren 720S with over 1,000hp!
The question is, which do you think will come out on top at the end? Let’s take a closer look at the stats…
Starting with the Ferrari, it’s powered by a 3.9-litre twin-turbo V8, which would usually produce 720hp and 770Nm of torque. However, this car has had £17,000 of upgrades added to it, so it now puts down 920hp and 870Nm! This power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and the car weighs in at 1,485kg. All in, the Ferrari is worth around £400,000.
Up next is the McLaren 750S. Unlike the Ferrari, it’s completely stock, which means it’s powered by a 4-litre twin-turbo V8 that creates 750hp and 800Nm. A 7-speed dual-clutch sends power to the rear wheels only, and it’s slightly lighter than the Ferrari, coming in at 1,438kg. As new, it’s worth £277,000.
Once these two have raced, we’ll bring in the McLaren 720S. It arrives with a fully built 4-litre twin-turbo V8, where the power has been increased from 720hp and 770Nm to an incredible 1,115hp and 1,350Nm! Power is sent to the rear wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch, and it tips the scales at 1,490kg. All in, it’s worth £200,000.
