As Felix continues his journey through the different departments of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, he makes his way to the paint shop. Airbrush artist Faye takes Felix through the intricate process of hand-painting the iconic Mercedes star.
The next highlight of this episode awaits Felix in the silver arrow lounge: The one and only James Allison – the technical mastermind behind the team. They talk all things engineering, performance, and tackling challenges before it’s time for one more department: The hallowed halls of the race support room, where crucial information from the racetrack arrives in real-time, allowing the team to make strategic decisions without being physically on site.

Ready for another weekend full of nerdy F1 tech insights before the season starts? Felix arrives at Brixworth, the home of developing and manufacturing Mercedes-AMG's High Performance Powertrains and is welcomed by Technical Director Adam.
The two of them hit the ground running, diving into the evolution of two powertrains from 2014 and 2018 – yes, the very engine that made history with Lewis Hamilton winning his second and fifth world championship.
Next up, Adam introduces Felix to Pierre, the Chief Engineer. Together, they take a stroll around the facilities and get a first hand look at how all engineers work closely together to make cutting-edge technology possible and tackle challenges together.
