It’s time for an Italian vs German head-to-head!
We’ve got Mat in the BMW M4 CS, and it’s about to face off against a Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato! But can a supersaloon really take down a supercar? Let’s check out the stats.
Starting with the BMW, it’s powered by a 3-litre twin-turbo straight-six that produces 551hp & 650Nm of torque. This is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox, and the car weighs in at 1,760kg. As new, it costs around £120,000.
As for the Lambo, it’s powered by a 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated V10 that puts down 610hp and 560Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch, and it has an estimated wet weight of 1,570kg. When new, the Sterrato cost £232,000.
So the Lambo has more tyres, but the BMW is set up with better tyres! Could they prove decisive? There’s only one way to find out for sure… LET’S RACE!
