疑被通報漏洞不回應，都柏林電車網站被駭勒索1比特幣
安全研究人員經常因通知科技廠商或網站業者有安全漏洞得不到回應，憤而公佈漏洞或起而駭之。愛爾蘭都柏林電車網站疑似忽略漏洞通報遭駭客懲戒，官網被駭並遭勒索1比特幣，並威脅公佈客戶資料。
都柏林電車業者Luas透過推特公告，Luas網站1月3日早上遭駭，首頁上被張貼惡意訊息。目前網站已被Luas外包IT 業者撤下，其技術人員正在設法解決。Luas得知可能需要一天來排除。
隨後該局還警告，基於「持續中的問題」，請大眾不要點選Luas網站。之後Luas所有消息都是經由臉書和推特更新，旅客有問題也需透過電話和電子郵件聯繫。
The Independent報導，1月3日早上Luas官網被駭換上一則訊息。訊息顯示：「你們已經被駭了，前些時候我通知你們有嚴重安全漏洞，你們卻沒消沒息。下次有人再聯絡你，請按下回覆鍵。你們必須在5天內支付一比特幣，否則我會公佈所有資料，再用email通知你的客戶。」
比特幣近來狂跌，根據coindesk的數據，目前一比特幣只能兌換不到3800美元。因此只要求1比特幣的駭客顯然只是警告意圖。有網友表示只要求Luas當局約3100歐元，這名駭客根本佛心來著。
