很多國人愛用的網路共同筆記網站 Hackpad 宣布7/19結束營運
如果你最近連到 hackpad.com 而沒有登入帳號，你應該會看到這個訊息。沒錯，網路共同筆記網站 Hackpad 即將在今年 7 月 19 日正式結束營運，併入 Dropbox Paper。
Dropbox 在 2014 年收購 Hackpad 後，2015 年推出自家的筆記軟體 Paper，就在今年 1 月，Paper 正式脫離 beta 階段，進入正式營運，Hackpad 離開舞台也就是遲早的事情了。
Hackpad 的創辦人兼 Dropbox Paper 部門的領導者，伊戈爾‧科夫曼（Igor Kofman）表示：「我寫這封信，是要讓您知道，我們即將在 7 月 19 日關閉 Hackpad 。我非常感謝 Hackpad 社群過去幾年的熱情和回饋。我很高興分享我們的下一步，這些回饋非常有助於設計 Dropbox Paper，因為這個產品受到 Hackpad 社群深深的啟發。」科夫曼表示，到 Dropbox Paper 保有許多 Hackpad 最棒的特色，例如即時協作、註解、即時編輯等，還增加了更多功能：更好的安全機制、更快的搜尋速度以及讓團隊有更高的可見度。
雖然如此，Hackpad 的使用者不見得只能轉用 Dropbox Paper。科夫曼提供了 4 種做法：
- 自動匯入 Dropbox Paper：在 Hackpad 什麼事都不做，那麼 7 月 19 日所有文檔就會自動轉到 Paper 上。
- 手動匯入 Dropbox Paper：在 Paper 申請帳號，然後用匯入器，把文件轉換到 Paper上。
- 匯出你的文件：格式可以指定，你在 Hackpad 的所有文件會被打包成一個壓縮檔讓你下載。
- 選擇退出自動搬遷：那 7 月 19 日你的所有文檔將會被刪除。
道別的時候終於到了，不管是工程師或是社運人士（還記得 2014 太陽花學運時，來自台灣學運使用者的流量打掛 Hackpad 的往事嗎？）Hackpad 將是很多人的回憶。如果你一定要原汁原味的 Hackpad，由於 Hackpad 本身其實是個開放源碼專案，你可以從這裡下載回家，自行安裝、架站，Hackpad 就可以伴你長久了。
A message to Hackpad users:
I’m writing to let you know we’ll be shutting down Hackpad on July 19. I’m so grateful for all the enthusiasm and feedback from the Hackpad community over the last several years, and I’m excited to share what’s coming next.
That feedback has been really helpful for designing Dropbox Paper—a product inspired by the Hackpad community. With millions of docs created by teams around the world, Paper is off to an exciting start. Paper takes many of Hackpad’s best features—like instant collaboration, comments, and real-time editing—and adds a lot more, including additional security features, faster search, and more visibility for teams.
You can start using Paper today. I’d love to know what you think.
I’ve built a few options for moving your pads to make the transition to Paper as easy as possible.
- Import your pads into Paper. I built an importer that helps convert your pads to Paper docs. You’ll need to create an account or sign in to get started.
- Export your pads. You can export everything into a single zip folder if you’d prefer.
- Do nothing. Your pads will automatically be migrated to Paper on July 19.
- Opt out of the automatic migration. Your pads will be deleted on July 19.
